Our People
Lindsey Webber - Deputy CEO
I originally joined Hauraki PHO as Project Manager and Clinical Leader for the Long Term Conditions Management and Whanau Ora project, working closely with the PHO management and clinical teams and the general practice network in the establishment of a mobile nursing and Kaiawhina team that will provide support to high needs patients with complex health and social needs.
I am a registered nurse with a background in women’s health originally. I completed my MSc in reproductive health at the University of Wales before coming to New Zealand in 1998 and spent the first few years teaching undergraduate nursing students at Wintec in community and women’s health papers, and also coordinated the level 7 cervical smear takers course.
I moved to Pinnacle in 2004 as a quality facilitator for the Pinnacle general practice network and developed a strong passion for workforce education and development, quality improvement and patient safety. I broadened my quality management experience with a couple of years at St John as the national quality manager before returning to Midlands Health Network as Director of Nursing in 2010.
I have a special interest in primary health care initiatives that aim to reduce inequalities and ultimately improve patient experience and safety. I also support the advancement of patient centred organisational philosophies that engage patients in the design, implementation and evaluation of services to ensure we are getting it right for them.
On a personal note, I am married to Warrick and mum to Thomas and we live in Cambridge with three dogs and a bird called Boris.
