Trish Anderson - Operations Manager
My role is to make sure the operational side of Hauraki PHO runs smoothly. This involves setting up and maintaining effective information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. This is essential for both internal management and external interface with our practices, Waikato DHB and the Ministry of Health, along with various data agencies. It also means seeking new and better clinical and administration support mechanisms for the practices. I have the overview of data quality and target achievement for the PHO and practices and the responsibility of monitoring progress and working with my colleagues (within the PHO and our practices) to provide the best service we can to our patients.
My experience in Primary Health Care includes Practice Management, nine years at Medtech in various roles as Support Consultant, Sales Manager, Customer Services Manager and General Manager. I have been working for eight years as an independent consultant and during that time have worked with several large and some smaller PHOs. My relationship with Hauraki PHO has been continuous throughout those eight years and I feel privileged to be a member of the HPHO team.
