Latest COVID Operating Guidelines: Version 5.0

Please find attached a new version of the COVID Vaccine Operating Guidelines. This is version 5.0. The following changes are included:

• Updated phone number for obtaining clinical support from IMAC
• Additional information about obtaining CE or their delegate’s approval of the site checklist to reflect current practice and submitting site details using the ‘COVID-19 Vaccine Facility and Site Set Up Details’ form
• Note to highlight that instructions on preparing and administering the Pfizer vaccine will be updated on 29 March on the IMAC website
• New wording to note a local procedure should be in place to identify the individual(s) who may be transporting the vaccine
• Note that site contact and delivery details are submitted using the ‘COVID-19 Vaccine Facility and Site Set Up Details’ form
• Clarification of wording regarding DHB hospital pharmacy repacking

 
Please ensure your local sites and any other relevant teams or individuals receive a copy of the updated Operating Guidelines.
