Ministry of Health funded Addiction 101 workshop | Whitianga

There is a scheduled Addiction 101 workshop in Whitianga on the 31st of March 2021 at the Oceans Resort. Addiction 101 is a fully funded one-day workshop from 9am to 4.30pm and is open to anyone who is interested to learn about addiction and recovery.
 
During the workshop, participants will:

• use Te Whare Tapa Whā to understand addiction and recovery
• recognise signs of addiction issues
• relate brain and body responses to addiction
• respond supportively to people experiencing addiction issues.
