Useful resources
In advance of attending a Stakeholder Information Session, it would be useful to re-visit the following documents:
  • Primary Maternity Services Notice 2007
  • Primary Maternity Services Amendment Notice 2020
The Primary Maternity Services Amendment Notice (2020) details the 2020 fee schedule in place as of July 1, 2020. This fee schedule was then replaced by The Primary Maternity Services Amendment (2) Notice (2020) in place from October 1, 2020 (see below).
  • Primary Maternity Services Notice Amendment (2) 2020
The Primary Maternity Services Amendment (2) Notice (2020) details the interim increase in payments which has been in place to distribute specific funding provided in Budget 2020. This funding was allocated to remunerate care for women with complex clinical and social care requirements, and those whānau living rurally.
  • Guidelines for Consultation with Obstetric and Related Medical Services (Referral Guidelines)
The Categories for Referral are particularly relevant to the Additional Care Supplement, which will be discussed during the Information Session.
