Hauraki Primary Health Organisation
Programme & Project Management (Information & Communication Technology)
As part of the Labour-led health system reform, localities or geographic areas which make sense to the people who live there, were introduced as a unit for planning and coordinating health and wellbeing services. This enables a stronger population health focus that reflects the voice and the needs of the community in an agreed Locality Plan.
This is a 2 year fixed term position that will provide operational leadership to the Hauraki Locality Development Programme including the development of the Hauraki Locality Plan and implementation of agreed programme/project activity.
Reporting to the Manukura Hauora – Te Puna Hauora Matua o Hauraki, the role will work with Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki, the Hauraki Māori Trust Board, Hauraki Locality Partners, locality stakeholders, local community groups and whānau to develop the Hauraki Locality plan.
The role will also work with and provide support to Te Tiratū the Waikato – Tainui Iwi Partnership Board (IMPB) and work closely with Te Aka Whai Ora and Te Whatu Ora to promote the needs of Pare Hauraki and to support the commissioning of services in response to these needs.
Building strong relationships with whānau, community groups, external stakeholders/providers and being an advocate for Māori health equity within Hauraki is important. This role will form part of the management team providing accurate and clear advice to the CEO and leadership team.
