Update on National Measles Promotional Campaign and materials (HPA-HPA)

Large numbers of 15 to 30 year-olds are not immunised against measles. This puts them at increased risk of catching and spreading measles during future outbreaks. To help address this, a National Measles Promotional Campaign is being developed to support the DHB-led campaign to strengthen New Zealand’s immunisation system, which will run through to August 2021.​

The campaign has now ended and free EpiPens are no longer available.

 We are particularly grateful for the support the campaign received from PHOs and health professionals.

IMAC’s webinar on October  Schedule Changes from last night is now available on the IMAC web page https://www.immune.org.nz/resources/presentations-webinars   Along with webinar recording there are many new resources for providers associated with the NIS and admin changes.
The Ministry of Health have published the 2020 Immunisation Handbook, it has gone up on their website today. https://www.health.govt.nz/publication/immunisation-handbook-2020
