Message from the chair of HiNZ-NMILately I have been thinking about leadership in Nursing and Midwifery informatics. Whilst we don’t seem to have many formal nursing informatics leadership roles, we certainly have leaders in this field in Aotearoa. But the question is, do we just need leaders, who will show us the way in developing a nursing and midwifery cohort that is competent in informatics, or do we need people in formal leadership positions for this?
