In this series of presentations, cancer leaders, clinicians, researchers and Māori health experts discuss issues relevant to whānau Māori. These are now available to watch at: https://centralcancernetwork.org.nz/workforce/e-learning-tools/ continued...
The content of each presentation informs and guides our health workforce in their interactions with Māori patients and their whānau. Discussion points at the end of the webpage allow groups to discuss practical ways to apply the learnings to their own work. The videos captured kōrero at the 11 hui held as part of the Regional Cancer Deep Dive in 2019-2020. The Central Cancer Network held these hui in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders and over 1,240 people attended. The Final Deep Dive Reports can be found here: https://centralcancernetwork.org.nz/regional-cancer-deep-dive/4-deep-dive-reports/ Our thanks to all those who attended the hui, the presenters, organisers, Central Cancer Network kaimahi, OriginEight video editors and the Goodfellow Unit for hosting the content.
