Clinical services Emergency Departments can be busier than usual during weekends. We are reminding people to keep Emergency Departments across all Waikato DHB hospitals (Hamilton, Tokoroa, Te Kuiti, Taumarunui and Thames) for emergencies only. If you need immediate or urgent help, please call 111. If it is not an emergency, please phone Healthline on 0800 611 116, visit your GP or local urgent care centre. IT services Our IT team are working on the installation of staff devices and we aim to have our radio therapy service operating next week. This will not be at full capacity immediately and we will continue to work with services in Tauranga and Wellington. Privacy We continue to work alongside specialist legal privacy experts and the Privacy Commissioner to ensure we meet all our obligations to notify patients and staff whose data may have been affected. A dedicated helpline is available 24/7 on 0800 561 234 for questions or concerns. Six calls were received yesterday. These were all privacy related.
