Practice Feedback Form

30 Oct 2019

The Health Quality and Safety Commission is undertaking a refresh of the national adult Primary Care Patient Experience Survey. The purpose of the refresh is to

  • keep up to date with approaches to patient care
  • keep up to date with latest research around patient experience measurement
  • ensure the best survey experience for your patients.

The Commission is working with Ipsos, a social research company, to complete this. The refresh process will include analysis of historic survey responses, review of existing practices and literature, and feedback from the sector. We will also be considering how best to increase response rates. A revised questionnaire will be developed and tested over the next couple of months, ready to be implemented in May 2020.

The Commission and Ipsos are now seeking feedback from practices around how you are using the results and your views on the current questionnaire content. A feedback form is attached. We ask that you take the time to complete this by 14 November 2019. Return instructions are included on the form.
