Hauraki PHO in partnership with Manage My Health™ (MMH) makes available a Patient Portal to all Hauraki PHO enrolled patients to empower patients to be informed and involved in their care.
The Patient Portal can be used to deliver better care to patients. The Patient Portal offers a secure messaging system between the patient and general practice. The online messaging system provides a high level of security that regular email cannot provide. In addition to secure communication, Patient Portal offers many other features that practices can selectively activate on their own.

A Patient Portal offers benefits to both patients and general practices. It is secure and convenient (available 24/7) and supports improving customer service to patients by reducing call volumes and waiting times with the ability to book online appointments, receive test results online (once signed off by the doctor) and send and receive non urgent emails. Practices are able to streamline their processes and reduce costs by improving efficiencies.
To sign up for the Patient Portal, please visit your general practice. You will need your own email address. The Patient Portal is available to 16 years and over. If you are under 16 or wish to sign up your children, please discuss this with your general practice.
